pace of play was slow...the rough was very long and wet....felt like we were playing a US Open course...very hard to find ball in even 1st cut of rough

Bowling Green is an excellent public course. The only drawback are the prices, especially the Friday premium and weekend prices with carts. Oh, one other love or hate thing is the 4th hole. The layout after they turned the old 4th hole into townhouses is terrible, especially for a par 5.

Outstanding, tight layout that requires precise tee ball to hit fairway but then gives you rewarding birdie ops when you find it. Another plus is that it is a great walking course w/holes close enough that you are not required to walk 500 miles but spaced out so your not on top of other golfers.Greens were in outstanding condition. $85 w/o a cart is a bit pricey for weekend play but once you get past the sticker shock, its very enjoyable
